Job summary

MS Shift, Inc. is seeking an experienced AI Developer to design, build, and integrate AI-powered features into our software platform. The ideal candidate brings strong software development experience and hands-on work with LLMs, AI agents, APIs, and modern AI frameworks.

This is a hands-on role for turning AI concepts into production, collaborating with product and engineering teams to deliver production-ready AI features across systems, data flows, and security.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience with NET CORE.
• Hands‑on experience developing applications using LLMs and Generative AI.
• Experience with OpenAI APIs or similar LLM platforms.
• Experience building AI agents, RAG systems, embeddings, and vector search.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and third‑party integrations.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, security, testing, and production deployment.
• Experience with Git and modern development workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI-powered applications and features.
• Build and integrate LLM-based solutions using OpenAI and other AI platforms.
• Develop AI agents and automated workflows.
• Implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) using company and customer data.
• Build secure integrations between AI services, databases, APIs, and existing applications.
• Develop prompt workflows, tool/function calling, and structured AI outputs.
• Work with vector databases, embeddings, and semantic search.
• Evaluate and improve AI response accuracy, reliability, and performance.
• Implement guardrails, monitoring, logging, and error handling.
• Optimize AI applications for performance, scalability, and cost.
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to turn business requirements into production-ready AI features.
• Research and evaluate new AI technologies and recommend practical applications.
