Job summary

Orbitant is seeking AI Engineers (mid and senior) to design production‑grade systems with LLMs, spanning agents, RAG pipelines, and generation workflows. You will work remotely with international clients and a collaborative, growth‑focused team.

Required are strong Python skills, prompt engineering expertise, and experience with LangGraph/LangChain. You will contribute to an AI‑first platform, mentor teammates, review code, and help ship measurable business value.

Qualifications

• Production systems experience with LLMs (agents, RAG, and generation pipelines).
• Strong Python programming and software engineering practices.
• Experience with evaluation and observability of LLM systems.
• Prompt engineering knowledge and tool use.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and international clients.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship AI agents and LLM‑based systems for clients.
• Take projects from pilot to production with business outcomes.
• Implement and maintain RAG systems over client documentation.
• Design multi‑step agent workflows and cost management.
• Build evals with Langfuse and define metrics.
• Integrate MCP servers and connect to client systems.
• Contribute to Orbitant's AI‑first platform.
• Mentor junior teammates and share knowledge.
• Propose new techniques and ensure production quality.
