As a Business Analyst within the Corporate and Investment Banking Payments Operations organization, you will play a crucial role in delivering a multi-year strategic transformation roadmap for Regulatory Reporting across several EMEA branches. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure compliance and enhance reporting processes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze regulations to identify reporting requirements and products in scope for reporting.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Technology, and Product partners to understand procedures, existing system capabilities, and identify relevant data attributes and systems of records for data sourcing.
  • Engage in business analysis for reporting obligations using a combination of Waterfall and Agile best practices.
  • Identify reporting process improvements and risk mitigation solutions to maintain a strong control environment, ensuring an error-free report generation process.
  • Conduct comprehensive deep-dive walkthrough sessions with multiple stakeholders to articulate reporting obligations requirements (Tech, Product, Controls, Ops).
  • Assist with data analysis and report preparation.
  • Prepare robust Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), document changes to the Change Management process, and contribute to the enlargement and maintenance of a Confluence wiki.
  • Participate in the department's continuous improvement initiatives.


Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Fluent English.
  • Challenging mindset with a proven record to problem-solve in a structured methodological manner.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills across various stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in a high-paced environment, be organized, and deliver following tight deadlines.


Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience in regulatory reporting and business analysis within the financial services industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Spanish, French, German, or Italian is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Alteryx, or Python.
  • Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence.
  • Understanding of payment systems (e.g., ACH, SEPA, RTP, Wires) and demand deposit accounts.
