Revolut Ltd in Barcelona seeks a Regulatory Legal Counsel to advise on compliance and legal issues around our financial products. You will structure new offerings, draft customer-facing documents, and manage regulatory applications while working with cross-functional teams globally.

The role requires 4+ years of PQE, strong knowledge of local financial regulations, excellent judgment, and exceptional stakeholder management.

Formación

• 4+ years of PQE in regulatory or financial services law.
• Experience advising on local financial regulations (Spain/EU).
• Excellent academic and professional credentials.
• Fluency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Provide compliance and legal advice on structuring financial products and related regulatory issues.
• Draft and review customer-facing legal documents and regulatory filings.
• Manage regulatory expectations and applications; lead local corporate structuring.

About the role

The Legal team turns complexity into clarity by partnering with teams across Revolut to provide sharp, practical advice that helps the business move fast while staying protected. From structuring credit programmes to navigating new markets, the Legal team ensures growth is secure, compliant, and built for the long term.

We're looking for a Regulatory Legal Counsel to advise on compliance and legal issues around our financial products.

What you'll be doing

• Providing compliance and legal advice on the structuring of new and existing financial products, including payment, investment, and banking features
• Drafting customer-facing legal documents
• Managing regulatory expectations, requirements, and applications
• Organising local corporate structure
• Drafting and negotiating intragroup agreements and contractual documentation with external vendors and suppliers
• Excelling at leadership while also undertaking executional work
• Handling significant and complex legal matters with short turnaround times

What you'll need

• 4+ years of PQE (mid to lead levels welcome to apply)
• Excellent academic and professional credentials
• Experience advising on local financial regulations
• Sound judgement, composure under pressure, and a collaborative mindset
• Confidence making decisions where there's ambiguity or incomplete information
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
• Fluency in English
