Lear Corporation is seeking a Regional Test Engineering Manager to lead the development and standardization of manufacturing test solutions across multiple plants. You will drive operational excellence in automotive electronics testing, ensuring high product quality, optimized manufacturing performance, and successful industrialization launches.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in test engineering or test production within automotive electronics.
• 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams or regional technical initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing test systems, including End-of-Line (EOL) testing, process validation, and industrialization.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Professional proficiency in English and Spanish, with the ability to collaborate effectively across international teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the standardization of manufacturing test solutions across regional plants, with a strong focus on End-of-Line (EOL) testing.
• Drive the identification, sharing, and implementation of best practices and innovative test concepts across manufacturing sites.
• Analyze manufacturing processes and test procedures to improve cycle time, efficiency, and overall equipment performance.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering to define optimal test strategies for RFQs, new products, and engineering changes.
• Evaluate and select test equipment solutions, suppliers, and technologies to ensure the best technical and commercial outcomes.
• Improve test equipment utilization, monitor First Pass Yield (FPY) and Cycle Time (CT), and implement processes that support operational targets.
• Architect robust and scalable manufacturing test solutions that maximize coverage, quality, cost efficiency, and transferability between plants.
• Support successful product launches by ensuring industrialization milestones, quality objectives, customer requirements, and capital expenditure plans are achieved.
