We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager (individual contributor, no management responsibilities) to join our Cyber Security Products (CSP) Data Protection team in Spain. Our CSP Data Protection portfolio is a world leader in enterprise and banking security, covering core data protection to secure network edge access. We support more data transactions and identities than any other company, serving 3,000 financial institutions and securing over 80% of the world's intra-bank fund transfers, as well as protecting leading software applications.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage a territory and a set of enterprise accounts in Spain to maximize revenue.
  2. Create, develop, and execute sales strategies for the assigned region, including strategic accounts, channel initiatives, vertical markets, and account plans with solution providers, partners, and key accounts in security solutions, Cloud, HSMs, Encryption, and Data Protection.
  3. Identify, qualify, and quantify opportunities within accounts and territory.
  4. Develop and implement medium- and long-term go-to-market strategies and business plans.
  5. Present Thales CSP solutions in customer meetings and marketing events.
  6. Build relationships with top management (MD, Vice Presidents, CxO level).
  7. Enable partners to sell Thales Cloud Protection Licensing solutions.
  8. Provide accurate weekly sales forecasts to management.
  9. Collaborate with presales engineers, marketing, and sales teams.
  10. Maintain records of sales opportunities using CRM (SFDC).
  11. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Experience, Education & Skills:
Experience:
  • At least 7 years of sales experience in IT industries, including 3 years in major account sales at the regional level in IT security.
  • Experience in channel sales, working with system integrators, service providers, resellers, and channel development; security industry experience is a plus.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. / B.S. or higher).
Skills:
  • Proven ability to close complex deals from opportunity discovery to contract signing.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of engaging all organizational levels.
  • Knowledge of security technology, enterprise software, hardware IT solutions, and cloud security solutions.
  • Excellent presentation skills, business development acumen, and team-building abilities.
  • Results-oriented, effective in senior management customer situations.
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic sales environment.
  • Background in IT security products, data encryption, crypto management, and HSMs is a plus.
