Munich Re in Madrid seeks an Actuary to join our Pricing team. You will price Life & Health reinsurance and collaborate with regional teams across Southern Europe and Latin America, focusing on Brazil. You will develop assumptions, build models, and translate actuarial insights into reinsurance proposals while supporting risk assessment.

• A degree in statistics, mathematics, or actuarial science, ideally fellow member of an international recognised Actuarial Association.
• 5+ years of experience in actuarial functions within life insurance industry.
• Advanced statistical analysis, data analytics, and actuarial modelling including coding skills (e.g., Python, R, or similar).
• Experience in the Brazilian life insurance market is highly valued.
• Fluency in Portuguese and strong business English; Spanish is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical actuarial support to clients in the region, with a focus on Brazil.
• Develop, update, and validate best‑estimate assumptions through experience studies and sensitivity analyses.
• Build and maintain actuarial models reflecting technical dimensions and future development.
• Translate actuarial insight into reinsurance proposals with soundness and consistency.
• Contribute to the monitoring, valuation, and analysis of existing and new business.
• Provide expert inputs on risk assessment.
• Collaborate across regions to share knowledge and maintain international connections.
