Formación

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant Health & Safety experience in data center or industrial environments.

Edged Spain - Regional Health and Safety Manager

Edged Spain has an exciting opportunity for a Regional Health and Safety Manager.

In this position, you will work directly with the Regional Operations Director, Regional Project Director, and Data Center Site Managers, being responsible for the fulfillment of H&S policies across all sites.

We are looking for someone who can identify, coordinate, and drive improvements in inbound safety, quality, and productivity, working with the Operations Management teams to continuously enhance functionality and safety in the Data Centers. The Regional Health and Safety Manager needs to be agile, professional, and comfortable in a rapidly changing environment.

The right candidate is trustworthy with confidential information, highly organized, self-motivated, possesses excellent communication skills, can think strategically, and works well both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop regional Health & Safety personnel through structured management and teamwork.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Health & Safety legislation across the Iberian Peninsula, aligning with regional standards and qualifications.
  • Define, implement, and maintain frameworks to support and enhance the Health & Safety strategy within Operations.
  • Develop and promote a safety culture across all operational levels.
  • Support the Operations Team with data and insights to identify trends and implement improvements.
  • Collaborate with Design, Engineering, and Construction teams to integrate safety into project design considerations.
  • Work with Legal and Governance teams to ensure safety provisions align with business risk and compliance activities.
  • Design and execute audits to measure and report safety standard compliance.
Skills & Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant Health & Safety experience in data center or industrial environments.
  • Recognized safety qualification (diploma level or equivalent).
  • Experience with ISO 45001 or OSHAS 18000 audits.
  • Proven track record managing Health & Safety across multiple projects and teams.
  • Ability to implement frameworks, policies, and procedures effectively.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, fluent in English.
