About the Job

Regional Finance Manager

is responsible for all finance-related functional areas within the CFO pillar for Region 2, which includes the UK, Ireland, Central Europe countries, and transversal lines, on behalf of the Head of Regional and Commercial Finance of Allianz Technology SE, and is accountable to the CTO for the same scope.

The role manages all customer-related financial topics in close collaboration with the CTO Head, Gearshift , post-merger integration, and ensures the implementation of the finance transformation within the regions.

This includes proper Financial Planning & Analysis, Budget Management, Forecasting, Financial Reporting, as well as Financial Compliance & Risk Management.

What you do

  • Provide leadership, direction, and management of the regional finance team and second-line functions.
  • Collaborate with regional and corporate leadership to align financial strategies with business objectives.
  • Offer strategic recommendations to the CTO and Group Head of Regional and Commercial Finance of Allianz Technology.
  • Serve as a financial advisor and commercial partner for all finance topics.
  • Foster transparency and ensure proper baselining and initiative tracking per region by leveraging finance teams.
  • Strive for continuous process improvements and implement best practices across the region.
  • Ensure global management and control of revenues, costs, and price & volume effects in a transparent manner.
  • Steer demand alignment (volume) on a multiyear perspective with ACM and Service Owners to enable Allianz group vision.
  • Validate CTO Project Portfolio and Initiative Business cases with local and central senior management stakeholders.
  • Play a vital role in dispute management during cash collection and foster credit note handling with Allianz group CFOs.
  • Provide guidance on financial matters, including validation of business cases and demand alignment, to support Allianz group's vision and objectives.

What you bring

  • Expertise in managing IT budgets (€500m - €1bn), with experience driving cost savings and ensuring financial transparency.
  • Strong analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Extensive experience in related positions in the IT industry.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with senior management and clients of AZ Technology and align demand management across multi-year plans.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems (e.g., SAP).
  • Extensive experience in financial management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or CPA / CFA preferred.
