Job Description

Are you a results-driven leader with experience managing operations and teams in the construction sector? This opportunity might be for you! Our client, a key player in the construction materials distribution industry, specializes in serving the professional channel with products in Heating, Air Conditioning, Plumbing, Sanitation, and Civil Works.

Why this role?

This position is vital for managing and driving the operational and commercial success of the Northern Zone, covering Galicia and Cantabria. You'll oversee sales, logistics, administration, and customer service, ensuring targets are met while optimizing processes.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Operational Leadership : Manage the operations of multiple work centers in the region.
  • Sales & Commercial Oversight : Develop and execute strategies to achieve and exceed sales goals.
  • Team Development : Lead and motivate staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Facility Management : Oversee maintenance and manage contracts to ensure efficient operations.
  • Compliance : Ensure adherence to regulations and internal company policies.
  • Logistics Optimization : Work with the Logistics Director to streamline distribution processes.
  • Reporting & Communication : Provide regular updates and insights to the leadership team.

Requirements

What You’ll Bring :

  • Advanced University Degree.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing operations, sales, and customer service, preferably in construction materials or a related sector.
  • Proven leadership experience, with skills in team development and fostering high performance.
  • Strong focus on achieving results and problem-solving in business operations.
  • Excellent organizational and planning abilities to handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and other management tools.
  • Knowledge of the construction materials market will be a strong advantage.
