The Team:

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Digital Marketing expert to join the regional Amazon Digital team on a temporary assignment. Reporting to the Amazon media manager, you will be part of a high-performing team of 3, focusing on planning and executing Amazon DSP and search strategies across EU5 markets. You will collaborate closely with the Amazon category team to align media strategies with brand priorities, as well as coordinate with the local digital team, partner agencies, and Amazon.

The Opportunity:

You will bring digital expertise to ensure the effective, creative, and efficient implementation of Mattel’s brand strategies, focusing specifically on Amazon Digital Marketing. We seek someone passionate about cross-collaboration, able to partner effortlessly with Brand Managers, Sales teams, and external agencies.

What Your Impact Will Be:

  • Support planning and executing media (DSP and search) strategies across EU for our brands.
  • Manage implementation and briefings of local and regional DSP campaigns across the funnel, working closely with local teams, Amazon Category Managers, Key Account Managers, creative agencies, Amazon teams, and viewability suppliers.
  • Coordinate with local digital teams to align on regional strategies while incorporating local needs.
  • Implement digital media best practices (tagging, ad serving, naming conventions).
  • Support improvements in media quality KPIs (viewability, brand safety, invalid traffic).
  • Brief and implement search campaigns via external agencies, including strategy definition, performance optimization, and campaign updates based on product availability and business needs.
  • Drive visibility and performance of Amazon media placements to increase relevancy and KPIs.
  • Utilize consumer insights and analytics tools (Amazon Marketing Cloud, Vendor Central, Profitero, Tableau) to build recommendations.
  • Analyze results based on KPIs and present findings to broader teams.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or related fields.
  • 2-3 years of experience in Marketing, preferably in Digital.
  • Experience with Amazon marketing is highly advantageous.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Office skills.
  • Analytical skills, learning agility, creativity, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Curiosity and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
  • Team player with a multicultural mindset and ability to work cross-culturally.
  • Passion for digital topics.
  • Fluent in English.
