CIDETEC Surface Engineering is seeking a researcher to join the Coatings and Surface Treatments Unit. The role involves reinforcing degradation phenomena monitoring with non-destructive techniques, addressing industrial and European project challenges. The researcher will contribute to R&D projects in basic research and industrial development, collaborating with leading companies in aeronautics, automotive, and energy sectors.

Responsibilities include:

  • Promoting and monitoring degradation phenomena lines
  • Managing and implementing R&D projects
  • Analyzing results, drafting reports, and preparing presentations

CIDETEC is a leader in surface engineering research, focusing on sustainability and circular economy. The work involves developing innovative surface treatments for various industries, including aeronautics and energy. The candidate will work on multiple research lines, optimizing resources and results.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in physics, materials science, industrial engineering, materials engineering, or equivalent
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Knowledge in degradation phenomena monitoring, acoustic emission analysis, and materials degradation
