Job Description:

Role Summary: Providing technical support to Field Engineers for all on-the-day activities, Ericsson Nodes 2G/3G/4G/5G integrations of new BB and various upgrades of existing sites. Ensuring the quality of activities meets expected standards through calls/post-performance checks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing remote configuration expansions and new site integrations of 2G, 3G, 4G & 5G for Ericsson sites.
• Generating and validating scripts for integration.
• Experience with Ericsson BB6630 / BB6648 / RP6631 / RP 6651 integration & troubleshooting.
• Configuration of RUs/RRUs/air radios.
• Experience in DUs/DGs/DUs/DUL.
• Carriers addition, sector addition, technology addition, site modernization.
• Configuration of mixed mode radios, GPS, ENDC.
• Communication and synchronization between back-office and field force, troubleshooting installation/integration issues.
• Configuration of external alarms, RET, neighbors.
• Coordination with field engineers for integration & troubleshooting.
• Support for external alarms, acceptance tests, call tests.
• Cell & parameter configurations in BSC/RNC.
• Software and license upgrades through ENM.
• Performance & fault management.
• Coordination with stakeholders for resolving issues.
• Collaboration with planning & design teams.

Tools & Systems Knowledge: Ericsson ENM, Winfiol/Secure CRT, WinSCP, Putty.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years relevant experience in telecommunications engineering, managerial/supervisor knowledge preferred.
• Graduation in Telecommunications/Electronics.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Fluent in English; French is a plus.
