A telecommunications company in Donostia/San Sebastián is looking for a Technical Support Engineer to provide support for Ericsson base stations. The role involves integration, troubleshooting, and coordination with field engineers. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in telecommunications and a degree in Telecommunications or Electronics. Proficiency in English is required, and knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

Formación

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in telecommunications engineering, with managerial or supervisory knowledge.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Fluent in English; French is a plus.

Role Summary: Providing technical support to Field Engineers for all on-the-day activities related to Ericsson Nodes 2G/3G/4G/5G integrations of new base stations and various upgrades of existing sites. Ensuring the quality of completed activities meets expected standards through calls and post-performance checks.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform remote configuration expansions and new site integrations for 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G Ericsson sites.
2. Generate and validate scripts for integration.
3. Have experience in Ericsson BB6630 / BB6648 / RP6631 / RP 6651 integration and troubleshooting.
4. Configure RUs, RRUs, Air Radios, and have experience with DUW / DUG / DUS / DUL.
5. Handle swap activities, carrier addition, sector addition, technology addition, and site modernization.
6. Configure mixed mode radios, GPS, ENDC.
7. Ensure communication and synchronization between back-office and field force; assist in troubleshooting installation and integration issues.
8. Configure external alarms, RET, neighbor relations.
9. Coordinate with field engineers for integration and troubleshooting.
10. Support field engineers during external alarms and acceptance testing, RET troubleshooting, and call tests.
11. Configure cells and parameters in BSC/RNC.
12. Perform software and license upgrades through ENM.
13. Manage configuration, performance, and fault management.
14. Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to resolve issues related to transmission, RF, and design.

Tools & Systems Knowledge: Ericsson ENM, Winfiol, Secure CRT, WinSCP, Putty.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in telecommunications engineering, with managerial or supervisory knowledge.
2. Graduation in Telecommunications/Electronics.
3. Proficient in MS Office Suite.
4. Fluent in English; French is a plus.
