A telecommunications firm in Barcelona is seeking a Telecommunications Engineer to provide technical support for Ericsson integration projects. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience, expertise in configuring Ericsson nodes, and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include remote configurations and coordinating with field engineers. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of French is a plus.

Formación

• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in telecommunications engineering.

Job Description:

Role Summary: Providing technical support to Field Engineers for all on-the-day activities, Ericsson Nodes 2G/3G/4G/5G integrations of new BB and various upgrades of existing sites. Ensuring the quality of activities meets expected standards, including calls/post-performance checks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing remote configuration expansions and new site integrations of 2G, 3G, 4G & 5G for Ericsson sites.
• Generating and validating scripts for integration.
• Having experience in Ericsson BB6630 / BB6648 / RP6631 / RP 6651 integration & troubleshooting.
• Configuring RUs/RRUs/air radios.
• Experience with DUW / DUG / DUS / DUL.
• Handling swap activities, carrier addition, sector addition, technology addition, and site modernization.
• Configuring mixed mode radios, GPS, ENDC.
• Communication and synchronization between back-office and field force, assisting in troubleshooting installation/integration issues.
• Configuring external alarms, RET, neighbor relations.
• Coordinating with field engineers for integration and troubleshooting.
• Supporting external alarms, acceptance tests, call tests.
• Cell & parameter configurations in BSC/RNC.
• Software and license upgrades via ENM.
• Performing configuration, performance, and fault management.
• Coordinating with stakeholders to resolve TXN and RF issues.
• Collaborating with planning and design teams for resolving design-related issues.

Tools & Systems Knowledge: Ericsson ENM, Winfiol/Secure CRT, WinSCP, Putty.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in telecommunications engineering with managerial/supervisor knowledge.
• Graduation in Telecommunications/Electronics.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Fluent in English; French is a plus.
