GMV is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to develop and integrate embedded systems for railway ITS. You will design and implement embedded applications in C/C++ for Linux environments, participate in integration of PIS, PA, CCTV and other subsystems, and collaborate with software, systems, validation and project management teams.

The role involves testing, validation, and documentation, with a focus on robustness, performance and fault tolerance across on-board and ground-based components.

Formación

• Degree in Computer Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in C/C++ development for embedded systems.
• Experience with Linux operating systems and OO programming.
• Familiar with TCP/IP networks and embedded services.
• Version control with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Ability to develop, debug and integrate embedded software in transport systems.
• Experience in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement and maintain embedded applications for railway systems.
• Integrate ITS components (PIS, PA, PAS, CCTV, SAE/AVLS, etc.).
• Develop and integrate communications between embedded devices and ground systems.
• Create and maintain HMI tools, configuration, monitoring and diagnostics apps.
• Analyze performance, memory usage, concurrency and fault tolerance.
• Conduct testing and validation in lab and customer environments.
• Produce technical documentation for design, integration and maintenance.
• Provide support during integration, validation and commissioning.
