GMV designs, implements, and maintains embedded C/C++ applications for railway systems running on Linux, contributing to passenger and safety solutions across trains, metros and trams. You will integrate ITS components, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure robust software through testing and documentation.

National and international mobility are available, with opportunities for relocation and growth.

Formación

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar.
• Experience or interest in embedded software for transport systems.
• Object-oriented programming experience.
• TCP/IP communications and network services.
• Software development, debugging and integration in embedded environments.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain embedded C/C++ applications for railway systems running on Linux.
• Integrate ITS components across trains and ground systems.
• Develop and integrate device-to-ground/subsystem communications and network services.
• Collaborate on HMI, configuration, monitoring and diagnostic tools.
• Analyze and improve performance, memory usage, stability, concurrency and fault tolerance.
• Conduct unit, integration, and functional tests in lab and customer environments.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for design, configuration, installation and operation.
• Provide technical support during integration, validation, commissioning and maintenance phases.

In this role you will design, implement, and maintain embedded C/C++ applications for railway systems running on Linux, contributing to core passenger and safety solutions. You’ll integrate ITS components across trains and ground systems, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure robust, scalable software through testing and documentation. You’ll work on real-world projects deployed on trains, metros, and trams, with opportunities for international mobility and growth.
