GMV is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer for Railway Systems to join our ITS division. You will design, implement and integrate embedded Linux applications for passenger information, PA, CCTV and related rail subsystems, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across software, validation and project management.

The role offers a hybrid work model, relocation support, flexible hours, and a personalized career plan with language training.

Formación

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar.
• Experience or interest in embedded software for transport systems.
• Strong C/C++, Linux and OO programming skills.
• Experience with TCP/IP networking and Git.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement and maintain embedded applications in C/C++ for railway systems in Linux.
• Integrate railway ITS solutions (PIS, PA, PAS, CCTV, SAE/AVLS) with software and systems.
• Develop communications between embedded devices and ground systems using network protocols.
• Contribute to HMI, configuration, monitoring and diagnostic tools.
• Assist testing, validation and integration in lab and customer environments.
• Produce technical documentation and provide incident support.
