GMV is expanding its space sector teams and seeks an Embedded Software Engineer to join our group. You will work on defining requirements, architecting interfaces, and implementing mission-critical components such as drivers and RTOS elements for embedded platforms.

Ideal candidates have a degree in computer science/engineering and strong C/C++ for embedded systems, plus experience with RTOS and low-level programming.

Formación

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Experience in C/C++ for embedded systems and real-time applications.
• Knowledge of RTOS and low-level programming (drivers, BSPs).
• Familiar with cross-compilers, debuggers, and static analysis.
• Awareness of aerospace standards ECSS/DO-178C.

Responsabilidades

• Define and analyze software and system requirements.
• Lead or collaborate on the architecture and interfaces between hardware and software.
• Develop and integrate mission-critical components: drivers, RTOS elements, protocols and data management.
• Perform unit, integration, and system tests, including Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL).
• Support verification and validation in accordance with ECSS/DO-178C and DO-178C.
• Develop and review technical documentation and ensure coding standards and quality metrics.
