Telemedicine Clinic (TMC), a Unilabs company, pioneered teleradiology services in Europe when it was founded in 2002 and has since become a vital partner for more than 150 radiology departments in the UK, Sweden, Denmark, and Norway. In November 2017 TMC has become part of Unilabs, a leading European provider of clinical laboratory testing and medical diagnostics.

More and more European hospitals are realizing the advantages of managing their reading capacity in a network with TMC and over the past four years, we have had an average annual growth of 25 percent. This year our team of more than 320 highly-specialized radiologists will report close to 800,000 cases, making a significant positive impact on the life of patients and hospital staff. In addition to our radiology reporting service, TMC offers pathology reporting services, IT infrastructure, and software to its hospital clients, as well as training for radiologists (TMC Academy).

THE OPPORTUNITY

Presently, we are looking for full-time Neuro, MSK, or Body radiologists eligible to work in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, or the UK interested in relocating to our headquarters in Barcelona and other offices such as Copenhagen or Reading (UK), or working remotely from a location of your choice. The goal of each section is to deliver high quality radiological diagnostic services to our healthcare clients and the final patients.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

We require that candidates meet the following requirements, so we can deliver the highest quality service to our patients:

1. Be a medical doctor with a specialist degree in diagnostic radiology.
2. Have worked for at least 2 years as a Consultant Radiologist, ideally with some degree of sub-specialisation in Neuro, MSK, or Body radiology.
3. Be registered as a radiologist with the Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, or UK authorities (or can obtain this registration).
4. Be able to report in the language of any of those countries.
5. Have a good command of English (since this is our working language).
6. Be computer literate.
7. Have a proactive mindset, be interested in finding solutions, manage stress, be flexible and organized.
8. Be a good communicator.

Our recruiting process consists of a formal application, in which we evaluate a candidate’s CV and move on to a phone or teams’ conversation if a candidate meets our criteria. The next step in the process is the organisation of online test cases. If wanted, those cases can also take place in one of our current offices. The final part of the process is a reference check with prior managers and colleagues who can attest to your competence and work ethic.

All we need is a good internet connection at your new place. This allows you to dedicate precious time to your loved ones, pursue your hobbies or for example study a new subject.
3. An attractive income and benefits. The base salary for full-time radiologists can be significantly higher than average salaries at public hospitals. In addition, if you decide to relocate to Spain, TMC offers generous benefit packages which include return flights, initial accommodation, and help from a relocation agency with a housing search, schooling and administrative paperwork. For longer stays, costs for spouses and children are also covered.
4. An opportunity to specialise. As a full-time radiologist, you will become a part of one of our sub-specialised Neuro, MSK or Body sections. This allows you to specialise in the modalities, organs or disease types of your interest and develop deep expert knowledge. You will also benefit from the extensive knowledge sharing activities within our group of more than 200 senior specialists.
5. Stay in the game. If you are retired, a period working with TMC in Spain or remotely from home is also a wonderful opportunity to stay connected with the profession you love.
