A global talent cloud platform is seeking a Junior Full-Stack Developer to join their team remotely. The role involves developing scalable web applications and utilizing modern cloud technologies, while working closely with senior developers. Ideal candidates will have a solid background in Python and JavaScript, with a strong desire to learn. This is a full-time contractor position.

Formación

• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Eagerness to learn and work with modern cloud technologies and tools.
• 2-3 years of experience writing Python and SQL.
• Experience with JavaScript and frontend frameworks (ideally React).
• Understanding of web application development and REST APIs.
• Comfortable using Git and familiar with tools like Jira and Slack.
• Interest in using AI tools (Cursor, GPT) to enhance productivity.

Responsabilidades

What you’ll be working on

As a Junior Full-Stack Developer, you’ll be part of a small and experienced development team working in a fast-paced, cloud-native environment.

• Contribute to the development of scalable web applications using modern backend and frontend technologies.
• Work on small, well-defined features end-to-end with guidance from senior developers.
• Write and maintain Python backend services deployed on AWS Lambda using Chalice and Serverless Framework.
• Interact with a MariaDB database on AWS RDS using SQLAlchemy and advanced SQL queries.
• Help build and maintain front-end components using React, Redux, and Material UI.
• Learn and apply clean coding principles and best practices in a collaborative environment.
• Actively participate in Agile SCRUM rituals and daily standups.
• Use AI tools such as Cursor and GPT to support your development tasks and learning curve.
