Siemens Mobility - Safety, Validation, and Verification Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated professional to develop Safety, Validation, and Verification activities for our projects, ensuring that technical solutions and processes meet safety and quality standards.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

1. Conduct safety analysis of product design and solutions throughout the entire lifecycle, including hazards, requirements, architecture, design, testing, and validation.
2. Review the suitability of signaling solutions to satisfy safety requirements.
3. Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards.
4. Coordinate RAMS activities within projects.
5. Collaborate with development teams, external assessors, and partners.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Automation, or related fields.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Rail Signaling.
• Knowledge of ERTMS and CBTC signaling solutions is desirable.
• Understanding of core signaling principles.
• Familiarity with CENELEC standards: EN50126, EN50129, EN50128, EN50159.
• Experience in requirements management, traceability, and validation.
• Knowledge of RAM management/analysis for electronic systems is a plus.
• Experience as a tester or in V&V processes is advantageous.
• Strong self-motivation and goal-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
• Willingness to travel as required.
