iVascular is a fast-growing company founded in 2010 in Barcelona (Spain) with the aim of developing medical devices and therapies for the treatment of disorders of the vascular system. Our goal is to become a reference in the vascular field by enhancing the value of technology and innovation.

The team that started iVascular has more than 30 years of experience in the field of vascular devices, responsible for obtaining one of the first CE marks for a drug-eluting stent over 20 years ago.

We are currently looking for an R&D PROJECT LEADER for our plant located in Sant Vicenç dels Horts (Barcelona).

Your main objective will be to lead the development of a delivery system for a medical device, from 2D/3D prototype design to managing prototype manufacturing, coordinating bench testing, analyzing results, and report writing. You will lead the device verification phase and prepare the necessary documentation for regulatory submission.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Prepare technical planning for assigned projects, applying the company's methodology.
2. Collaborate with the department head to prepare project budgets and define technical and human resources to meet objectives.
3. Ensure the feasibility and technical quality of proposed solutions.
4. Coordinate and implement the production process for developed products.
5. Research and develop improvements in technical characteristics, quality, and costs.
6. Define purchasing specifications and approve suppliers from initial stages until product transfer to manufacturing, providing procurement guidelines.

DESIRED PROFILE:

1. Degree in Industrial Engineering, especially in mechanical, electromechanical, materials, biomedical fields, or similar.
2. High proficiency in English and Spanish.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
4. Experience working in R&D departments, with CAD systems (especially SolidWorks and Rhinoceros) and Ansys.
5. Strong ability for multidisciplinary work, analytical skills, integrity, teamwork, communication skills, innovation, self-esteem, and professional growth ambition.
