Job summary

Amcor is seeking an experienced R&D Portfolio & Project Manager to oversee a regional project portfolio and drive standardization of tools and reporting. This 11-month fixed-term maternity cover role is on-site in Campo Real and requires strong project management, design and cross-functional collaboration skills.

You will report to the Director of Global Rigid Packaging Solutions R&D and work with a global team to deliver on strategic pillars: sustainability, product innovation, and cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product design and development, preferably in an R&D environment.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, KeyShot).
• Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes and engineering principles.
• Experience with project management and related tools (MS Project, Wrike, Power BI).

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate a regional project portfolio to ensure effective management and delivery of metrics.
• Lead cross-functional teams across product development, supply chain, sales and finance.
• Implement stage-gate governance and best-practices in project and portfolio management.
• Drive standardization of dashboards and reporting across global teams.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of design processes and project progress.
