Amcor is seeking an R&D Development Center Manager to lead the R&D CPI Development Center, driving new product implementation, industrialization, and sustainability in packaging across multiple sectors. You will manage a technical team, coordinate with global sites, and ensure projects meet time, cost and quality targets.

The role requires a strong track record in R&D leadership, strategic planning, and stakeholder management, with a focus on cost innovation and continuous improvement.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• 10+ years in R&D with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Proven track record leading R&D projects and managing teams.
• Strong knowledge of industrial processes, technology and qualification principles.
• Excellent leadership, communication and project management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead R&D Development Center and technical team aligned with innovation objectives.
• Develop the ONE R&D CPI team roadmap and manage parts of it.
• Maintain client relationships and expand business opportunities.
• Lead key projects supporting business goals.
• Monitor metrics and ensure goals are met.
• Participate in strategic decisions as part of leadership.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed.
• Develop strategic plans for the development center with market focus.
• Oversee project execution to time, budget and quality.
• Lead restaging of products for existing portfolio sites.
• Collaborate on business continuity and security of supply.
• Prepare documentation for handover to production sites.
• Participate in continuous improvement and launches.
• Foster cross‑functional collaboration across sectors.
• Co‑Lead processes to improve product consistency.
• Manage HR allocation and development center budget.
• Prepare technical reports and recommendations to senior management.
• Mentor team members and promote excellence.
