As the successful candidate for this software development manager position, you will join an existing team in a key role developing software platforms and product technologies.

You will have broad software development and management knowledge, including managing both onshore and offshore software engineering teams. The team you will lead includes offshore developers in India, as well as US and European-based developers.

Strong communication and teamwork with cross-functional, globally distributed teams—including product marketing, product support, quality, and service delivery channels—are key to success in this position.

You have established your people management, leadership, and technical skills. This is your chance to utilize these skills in creating several exciting new software products.

Responsibilities:
  1. Leads / manages people and team operations.
  2. Defines roles, responsibilities, and resource requirements based on understanding of subordinate teams’ specialized areas.
  3. Ensures design and implementation of policies, processes, and projects align with tactical business plans.
  4. Resolves technical and operational challenges within the department with autonomy.
  5. Provides guidance to subordinates on complex challenges and conflicting priorities.
  6. Manages resources to implement business plans and projects.
  7. Develops operational plans, administers budgets, schedules, and performance standards to meet organizational goals.
  8. Collaborates internally and externally on organizational goals or processes.
  9. Leads projects or initiatives impacting the team and beyond.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2+ years leading design teams in successful software product development.
  • At least 10+ years of experience in a technical role.
  • Experience in leading cloud-based development within an AWS environment.
  • Management and design experience with Microsoft .NET and C#.
  • Leadership experience with Agile, Waterfall, and other lifecycle processes.
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.

This is a full-time position with a weekly schedule, offering remote work options. Applications are accepted until April 21, 2025, or until the position is filled.
