A leading company in the field of polymer chemistry seeks a chemist to develop emulsion polymers. The role involves synthesis, process optimization, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Ideal candidates will possess an MSc in Chemistry, have strong teamwork skills, and a minimum of 3 years' experience in polymer chemistry.

Descripción del empleo

• Synthesis and formulation of emulsion polymers for the development of new products, selecting the optimum product, process and composition.
• Product characterization, application on different substrates and performance evaluation following standard test methods / SOP. in compliance with internal guidelines and ISO standards. Accurate documentation of all experimental results.
• Process optimization and scaling-up. Identifying inefficiencies, implementing improvements, and developing robust lab processes for a seamless transition from lab scale to full-scale production. Collaborating with process engineers to ensure smooth production scale-up process.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving. Analysis of experimental results and identification of the root cause for product and / or performance deviations. Implementation of corrective actions to ensure reproducible results, quality, and performance.
• Regulatory compliance and safety. Strict adherence to all internal guidelines, policies and processes, as well as international standards and regulatory frameworks.

Profile :

• MSc in Chemistry with solid background in emulsion polymerization.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the field of polymer chemistry.
• Industrial experience preferred
