Job summary

IMDEA Materials Institute is a public research organization based in Madrid. The role focuses on cost allocation, tariff calculations, fixed assets, inventory management, and accurate invoicing and payments processing within a financially compliant framework.

The successful candidate will support annual financial statements, ensure timely collections, and assist audits for publicly funded R&D projects. English and Spanish language skills are required at CEFR levels B2 and C1 respectively.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a similar role.
• Experience with cost allocation and tariff systems is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fixed asset and inventory accounting and control.
• Prepare data for annual financial statements.
• Oversee customer invoicing, collections and payments.
• Support audits and project accounting for publicly funded R&D.
• Develop and maintain accounting procedures and policies.
