A leading green energy firm in Barcelona is seeking a Platform Engineer to optimize and maintain infrastructure and virtualization environments. Candidates should have over 7 years of experience in Platform Engineering, Dev Ops, or similar roles, with strong Linux skills and familiarity with Kubernetes. This position plays a critical role in supporting the transition to cloud-native solutions, making renewable energy more efficient and reliable.

Formación

• 7+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Dev Ops, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure roles.
• Strong Linux skills and experience with virtualization.
• Familiarity with observability tools and custom monitoring solutions.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python) and experience with C or Golang.
• Fluent in English.

Responsabilidades

• Optimizing and maintaining Linux-based infrastructure and virtualization environments.
• Building monitoring solutions with tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
• Developing backend components in C or Go (Golang).
• Supporting Kubernetes environments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure issues.

As a Platform Engineer, you’ll work on the backbone of our systems—maintaining and improving our infrastructure, especially legacy components not yet containerized. You’ll help us build better observability and reliability into our platforms, supporting our move toward modern cloud-native solutions.





You’ll be responsible for: Optimizing and maintaining Linux-based infrastructure and virtualization environments Building monitoring solutions with tools like Grafana and Prometheus Developing backend components in C or Go (Golang) Supporting Kubernetes environments and CI/CD pipelines Troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure issues
