Job Description:

Overview: The position of the Project Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating the completion of all language projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage the entire lifecycle of multiple localization projects in a fast-paced environment.
2. Coordinate all project phases and predict the duration of each stage.
3. Liaise with sales staff to clarify project parameters.
4. Negotiate deadlines and rates with vendors.
5. Establish and maintain excellent relationships with contract translators and proofreaders globally.
6. Monitor and control project status.
7. Manage project finances, including budgeting.
8. Prepare and maintain project documentation.
9. Ensure compliance with relevant procedures.
10. Perform quality checks at various stages to ensure quality and accuracy.
11. Perform other duties or projects as required.

Essential skills and experience:

1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
2. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
3. At least 1 year of professional experience in a similar role within a corporate environment.
4. Detail-oriented with multitasking ability.
5. Ability to meet deadlines.
6. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
7. Ability to work independently.
8. Capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
9. Proficient in MS Office and Windows.

Desired skills and experience:

1. Background or experience in the translation industry.
2. Knowledge of CAT tools.
3. Proficiency in additional foreign languages.
