Salary: £75-85k + Bonus

Job Summary

We are seeking a Quantitative Researcher for an exciting and progressive Sports Betting Hedge Fund with offices in London and Madrid. You will develop statistical models to compute the probabilities of outcomes in various sports.

Sports modeling is their core expertise. The company fosters a technical and cultural environment that enables rapid exploration and testing of alternative models. You will join a highly skilled team tackling complex sporting questions, building probabilistic models central to the company's success, and extracting information from diverse sporting and market data sources.

Modeling and predicting sports outcomes is a challenging field, offering opportunities to apply your experience, judgment, and creativity to solve difficult problems.

Qualifications
  • PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related STEM discipline
  • At least 3 years of coding experience in electronic trading
  • Experience in software design and development using Python, Pandas, SQL/NoSQL, TensorFlow
  • Excellent academic record (Straight As at A level or equivalent)
  • Kaggle profile or other practical statistical experience
