We are seeking Specialists and Supervisors to join our team.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Technical Support: Provide first-line technical support to operations teams, addressing equipment and system issues promptly to minimize production downtime. Coordinate with Suppliers and IT Teams.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues in systems, equipment, and infrastructure.
- System Optimization: Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency by optimizing processes, equipment performance, and system functionality.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of scans, analysis, and repairs, ensuring compliance with quality standards. Develop and update inspection and analysis instructions.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in initiatives to improve operational performance, contributing ideas and implementing solutions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with production, quality, and IT teams to implement technical solutions and upgrades.
- Training: Provide technical training and guidance to crawler operations and annotation personnel to improve their skills.
- Incident Response: Lead or participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Auditing: Conduct random audits to ensure consistent disposition across the plant.
- Quality Assurance: Analyze crawler image data to ensure process compliance before failures occur.
Operational Quality
- Perform accurate data analysis to achieve zero defect escapement and prevent over-processing.
- Provide timely analysis support and feedback to ensure smooth plant operations.
- Drive improvements in scanning methods to obtain higher quality data.
Qualifications
- Experience: Relevant experience in a composite manufacturing environment; wind energy background is advantageous.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to diagnose complex technical issues and develop solutions.
- Communication: Proficient in English (verbal and written).
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues.
- Decision-Making: Set goals, monitor progress, and make informed decisions.
- Flexibility: Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts. Open to traveling across LM business units for training and support.
