Executes within a well-defined operations framework. There is generally a step-by-step sequence of standard operational tasks which need to be followed to achieve an end result.

Job Description

We are seeking Specialists and Supervisors to join our team.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Technical Support: Provide first-line technical support to operations teams, addressing equipment and system issues promptly to minimize production downtime. Coordinate with Suppliers and IT Teams.
2. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues in systems, equipment, and infrastructure.
3. System Optimization: Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency by optimizing processes, equipment performance, and system functionality.
4. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of scans, analysis, and repairs, ensuring compliance with quality standards. Develop and update inspection and analysis instructions.
5. Continuous Improvement: Participate in initiatives to improve operational performance, contributing ideas and implementing solutions.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with production, quality, and IT teams to implement technical solutions and upgrades.
7. Training: Provide technical training and guidance to crawler operations and annotation personnel to improve their skills.
8. Incident Response: Lead or participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
9. Auditing: Conduct random audits to ensure consistent disposition across the plant.
10. Quality Assurance: Analyze crawler image data to ensure process compliance before failures occur.

Operational Quality

• Perform accurate data analysis to achieve zero defect escapement and prevent over-processing.
• Provide timely analysis support and feedback to ensure smooth plant operations.
• Drive improvements in scanning methods to obtain higher quality data.

Qualifications

• Experience: Relevant experience in a composite manufacturing environment; wind energy background is advantageous.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to diagnose complex technical issues and develop solutions.
• Communication: Proficient in English (verbal and written).
• Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues.
• Decision-Making: Set goals, monitor progress, and make informed decisions.
• Flexibility: Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts. Open to traveling across LM business units for training and support.
