Formación

• 2+ years of quality experience required.

Job Description

The Quality Specialist will develop, implement, and improve quality plans, programs, procedures, and systems using statistical analyses, lean manufacturing concepts, and six sigma tools and analyses. The incumbent reviews, analyzes, and reports on quality system and process discrepancies and develops/implements best practices for standardization and excellence. Ensures that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Activities and duties will vary depending upon the functional area assigned. Activities may include, but are not limited to:
• Ensures that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards.
• Develop and update Avery Dennison quality system training programs and train all levels of employees on these systems.
• Audit and test the quality system to ensure sustainability of processes and compliance with Company and legal requirements.
• Report on quality performance metrics and present to site leadership.
• Working closely with global quality team to deploy, update, suggest quality standards and ensure site compliance with global standards.
• Investigates problems and root cause analysis and develops disposition and corrective actions for addressing the issues. Recommends corrective actions, dispositions and modifications with agreement with operation lead.
• Develop and implement program quality plans, programs, and procedures using statistical quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and ELS tools and analyses. Lead and/or participate in quality process improvement projects.
• Support Compliance Audit and Clients Audit activities in the site.
• Interfaces with other functions to ensure quality process requirements are met.
• Oversee the document control system by processing document change requests and working with divisions to develop new documents.
• Create, review, and approve changes to the quality system process to devise best practices and reduce process variation.
• Consult with quality Dept in other countries on best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree.
• 2+ years of quality experience.
• Certified Auditor or Certified Quality Analyst preferred.
• Collaboration and partnering attitude is a must.
• Excellent in Spanish.
• Proficient in English.
• Good IT skills (Google Workspace).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong auditing and statistical skills.
• Strong attention to detail & organizational skills.
• Strong technical aptitude.
