A leading company in the aerospace sector is seeking Quality Technicians to support an inspection program in Bilbao for a project lasting 2 to 3 weeks. The role involves ensuring compliance with engineering drawings and customer specifications, performing various checks, and collaborating with teams to address customer complaints and non-conformance. Candidates should have significant aerospace inspection experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to meet stringent deadlines.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years experience in aerospace manufacturing.
• Experience using mechanical inspection tools (micrometers, calipers).
• Knowledge of AS9100 standards is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of parts.
• Review and approve Certificates of Conformance.
• Work with logistics to quarantine and return non-conforming materials.

We are seeking 3 Quality Technicians / Inspectors to be based on-site supporting a customer program in Bilbao, Spain for 2 to 3 weeks

Job Description:

The desired candidates will have previous experience in working in an Aerospace Quality Inspection role, performing inspection to engineering drawings, customer purchase order, industry standards and specifications, defining/containing non-conformance when identified by Receipt Inspection or by Customer.

The support will include:

• Visual, documentation and packaging checks
• Part serialisation checks
• Dimensional inspection of suspect parts
• Review and approval (stamp-off) of CofCs
• Work with internal logistics to ensure affected material is quarantined and returned to supplier as required
• Evaluate customer complaints with internal quality/ME team and launch containment if required

Experience requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 3-years previous experience within an aerospace manufacturing environment
• Strong hands-on inspection experience, using various mechanical inspection tools, such as micrometers and calipers
• Knowledge / experience of AS9100 standards highly advantageous
• Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
• Previous experience of SAP and Microsoft Office tools (Excel and Word) advantageous
• Ability to prioritise workload, and meet stringent deadlines
• Ideally based in a commutable distance of Bilbao
• Communication will be in English and or Spanish
