Job summary

Conciliat Executive Search is seeking a Quality Engineer for a multinational in the chemical industrial components sector. The role focuses on improving product and process quality through data-driven methods and strict regulatory compliance.

The engineer will lead root-cause analyses, implement corrective actions, train operators, and collaborate across production and engineering teams. Parla, Madrid area, is the workplace.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001 / EN9100 / NADCAP).
• Knowledge of statistical tools and methodologies (Six Sigma, SPC, etc.).
• Advanced level in data analysis tools/software.
• High level of English (minimum B2).
• Environmental, safety, and regulatory awareness in industrial/chemical environments.

Responsibilities

• Continuous improvement projects including scrap reduction and process optimization with cross-functional teams.
• Standardization and operational excellence with satellite plants and production teams.
• Lead root cause analysis of quality issues and implement effective corrective actions.
• Deploy preventive actions and share best practices across lines.
• Manage customer claims and coordinate cross-functional responses.
• Provide quality training to operators and new hires.
