Job summary

Teknia is hiring a Quality Engineer for its Pedrola plant. You will ensure compliance with customer quality requirements and internal procedures, implementing and monitoring processes to improve product quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include handling 8D reports, audits, KPI analysis, and driving cross-functional improvements across Production, Engineering, Purchasing, and Logistics.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year in Quality, automotive preferred; knowledge of industrial machinery, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical systems.
• Experience with monitoring processes and implementing corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Customer Quality Management including complaint handling and 8D reports.
• Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards and requirements.
• Monitor production processes to prevent deviations and defects.
• Analyze non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain the Quality Management System per ISO 9001.
• Conduct internal audits and support external/customer audits.
• Analyze quality KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, and Logistics to ensure quality across the value chain.

About the Position

We are looking to hire a Quality Engineer at our Pedrola plant. The selected candidate will ensure compliance with customer-defined quality requirements, applicable regulations, and the company's internal procedures through the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of processes, with the aim of ensuring product or service quality, preventing defects, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

The responsibilities of the position include:

• Customer Quality Management, including complaint resolution, preparation of 8D reports, and follow-up of corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards and requirements.
• Monitor and control production processes to prevent deviations and defects.
• Analyze non-conformities, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Implement and maintain the Quality Management System in accordance with standards such as ISO 9001.
• Conduct internal audits and support external and customer audits.
• Analyze and monitor quality performance indicators (KPIs).
• Drive continuous process improvement and reduce costs associated with poor quality.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, and Logistics departments to ensure quality throughout the entire value chain.

Experience and Education

• Academic Background: Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in Quality, preferably in the automotive industry. Experience Industrial machinery, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical systems, robotics, automation (PLC, sensors, etc.).
