Job summary

RESRG Automotive is seeking a Quality Engineer with automotive experience to lead quality activities for new product launches, from development through industrialization and series production, ensuring all stages of the program meet required quality standards.

You will drive quality assurance and continuous improvement of production processes, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, and collaborate with Production, Engineering and Logistics to monitor KPIs and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering is required.
• Minimum two years of experience in a similar automotive role.
• Fluent written and spoken English (C1).
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and quality management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead cubing preparation, internal reviews, action plans and closure of dimensional and quality maturity gaps.
• Supervise and control quality issues in customer environments.
• Participate in and manage escalated processes with OEMs or Tier 1 customers.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering and Logistics to improve product quality.
• Prepare, monitor and report quality KPIs.

Job description

We are looking for a Quality Engineer with experience in automotive industry to join our team and lead quality activities for new product launches, from development through industrialization and series production, ensuring that all stages of new program follow the required quality standards. The role will contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement of production processes, ensuring compliance with customer requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Development, industrialization: Lead cubing preparation, internal reviews, action plans and closure of dimensional and quality maturity gaps.
• Supervise and control quality issues in customer.
• Participate in and manage escalated processes with customer.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering and Logistics to improve product quality.
• Prepare, monitor and report quality KPIs.

REQUIREMENTS

• Engineering degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• Two years at least of previous experience in a similar position within automotive industry.
• Fluent written and spoken English (C1 level).
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and quality management systems.

What will put you ahead

• Knowledge of German (B1 level or higher).
• Specific training in VDA 6.3 and automotive Core Tools.
• Knowledge of quality standards and tools, including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA and SPC.
• Previous experience working with OEMs or Tier 1 customers.
