Functions

We are currently looking for a Quality Director responsible for the Spanish market. You will coordinate and supervise the implementation of the Quality and Food Safety Policies in Spain, ensuring compliance with standards and objectives across the Spanish plants. Key responsibilities include :

  • Coordinate actions and monitor quality and food safety aspects with other departments, customers, and suppliers to establish improvement projects.
  • Lead improvement teams to resolve problems proactively, identify root causes, eliminate losses, and apply tools such as TPM, Q-First, and Agility.
  • Approve new technologies and analytical methods in collaboration with R&D and Innovation.
  • Represent the company before official bodies, administration, and associations regarding quality and food safety issues.
  • Supervise the correct application of policies and procedures related to clients, consumers, risk management, and authorities.
  • Audit and control the application of policies in QSE (Food Safety HACCP & GMPs, people & facilities safety).
  • Ensure compliance with all legal licenses and certificates in the plants.
  • Lead crisis committees when necessary.
  • Implement continuous improvement tools related to Q&E reputation, costs, and systems, including employee training, certifications, and internal audits.
  • Verify product conformity according to internal specifications.
  • Implement procedures developed by R&D and the quality department at the site level.

The ideal candidate will have :

  • University studies in Veterinary, Biology, Chemistry, or Food Technology.
  • At least 7 years of experience in management, processes, and quality within the food industry.
  • Experience in multinational companies.
  • Results-driven approach, change management skills, organization, flexibility, leadership, a preventive mindset, and problem-solving skills.
  • High proficiency in English.
  • Availability to travel.
