Job summary

Moderna is expanding its international centre for analytical excellence in Madrid. The Quality Control Specialist will support laboratory informatics across the global QC network, focusing on LabVantage LIMS, Chromeleon CDS, SoftMax Pro, and LES.

You will work with QC, Digital, and Automation teams to ensure compliant configurations, data integrity, and scalable digital workflows while exploring AI-enabled QC capabilities.

Qualifications

• BS in sciences or relevant scientific field required.
• 3-5 years experience in biotech/biopharma QC, labs, or digital/automation roles preferred.
• Experience in GMP-regulated environments is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot AI-related QC processes.
• Excellent communication and ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support QC laboratory systems across Moderna's global network, including LIMS, CDS, SoftMax Pro, and LES.
• Provide Tier 1 technical support and troubleshoot laboratory informatics issues.
• Maintain and configure laboratory systems and master data.
• Assist in testing and deployment of system enhancements and new functionalities.
• Review LabVantage master data, templates, calculations, and workflows for accuracy and compliance.
• Support GMP compliance, data integrity, and documentation.
