Job summary

Moderna Madrid is seeking a senior QC Bioassay professional to lead cGMP data review and cell-based method oversight, supporting release and stability programs.

You will drive investigations, CAPAs, change controls, and cross-functional collaboration across QC, QA, Manufacturing, Digital, and Technical Development.

The role offers onsite work at the Madrid site, opportunities to leverage Generative AI tools while maintaining GxP controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline.
• 4+ years experience with a focus in Mammalian Cell (or MS with 2 years).
• Experience with cell-based ELISA and in vitro potency assays.
• Working experience in a GMP environment preferred.
• Proficiency in English for global collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Perform cGMP data review for QC Bioassay testing, focusing on Cell-Based Methods.
• Provide technical and compliance oversight of assay packages and records.
• Lead or support laboratory investigations, deviations, OOS/OOT and CAPA processes.
• Support method transfers, qualification, acquisition, validation, and lifecycle activities.
• Review and approve controlled GMP documentation (SOPs, protocols, reports, etc.).
• Support stability data review and data trend analysis.
• Guide junior staff and provide training in Cell-Based Methods and data integrity.
