Job summary

Moderna Madrid is seeking an experienced Quality Control Chemistry professional to ensure scientific integrity, accuracy and cGMP compliance of analytical data for product release and stability testing. You will lead Quality Events, investigations, and CAPAs, while supporting Change Controls and ongoing method lifecycle activities.

The role requires +5 years in a GMP QC lab, strong analytical chemistry skills, and ability to lead during the 2:00–10:00 pm shift.

Qualifications

BA/BS in Chemistry and 5+ years of QC laboratory experience.
GMP knowledge and experience with analytical data reviews.
Hands-on experience with HPLC/UPLC and analytical techniques.

Responsibilities

Review and approve analytical assay packages for cGMP release and stability testing.
Evaluate chromatography data and instrument outputs to verify data integrity.
Lead laboratory Quality Event investigations and CAPA activities.
Define actions and ensure timely closure of deviations and OOS investigations.
Support Change Controls and Quality improvements within GMP systems.
Provide senior technical leadership during the 2:00–10:00 pm shift.
Coordinate QC activities and communicate testing priorities to stakeholders.
Collaborate with internal/external labs and CMOs on analytical activities.
Support analytical method lifecycle activities and troubleshooting.
Ensure CoAs and QC release docs are accurate and compliant.
Maintain GMP documentation and inspection readiness.
