Job Title: Full Remote Quality Assurance Engineer
For an international organization in New York, we are urgently seeking a Full REMOTE Quality Assurance Engineer with over 3 years of experience in developing UI test automation using Selenium with C#/.NET. Candidates should be willing to work at least 50% of their time during New York business hours. Fluency in English is required, and candidates must reside in Europe.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Act as a QA focal point to development teams and communicate effectively with the Quality Assurance Team members.
- Support QA and related services, and contribute to expanding and improving these services.
- Create, execute, automate, and manage test cases and test plans for existing and new systems.
- Support the software development process and the implementation of new software releases by testing applications and programs, following established IT standards.
- Participate in the specification, design, automation, and support of computer application systems from a QA perspective.
- Draft technical documentation, including test cases and user stories for deployed systems.
- Maintain test and functional specifications for developed or modified applications, programs, and procedures.
- Draft correspondence and contribute to periodic reports.
- Stay updated on developments in quality assurance and recommend new tools or methods as appropriate.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Profile:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree.
- Over 3 years of practical experience in software quality assurance for medium to large development teams.
- Over 3 years of experience in developing test automation frameworks or designing automated testing suites.
- Over 3 years of experience managing test code and definitions using Software Configuration Management, with integration into build tools like Azure DevOps Services.
- Over 1 year of hands-on experience with git source control, including branching and pull requests.
- Over 3 years of experience developing UI test automation with Selenium using C#/.NET.
- Experience with writing test cases using Gherkin syntax is desirable.
- Experience testing applications hosted in Microsoft Azure Cloud Services is desirable.
- Fluent in English.
