Quality Assurance Engineer with C# / .NET - FULL REMOTE - Contractor in USD

For an international organization in New York, we are urgently looking for a Full REMOTE Quality Assurance Engineer with +3 years of experience in developing UI test automation with Selenium using C# / .NET.

Candidates need to be willing to work at least 50% during New York business hours and must be fluent in English.

Applicants must reside in Europe. No work permit will be provided.

Tasks and responsibilities :

• Act as a QA liaison to development teams when communicating with the Quality Assurance Team;
• Support QA services and help improve their effectiveness;
• Create, execute, automate, and manage test cases and plans for existing and new systems;
• Support software development and new releases by testing applications using established standards;
• Participate in the specification, design, automation, and support of application systems from a QA perspective;
• Draft technical documentation, including test cases and user stories;
• Maintain test and functional specifications for systems and procedures;
• Prepare reports and team contributions for periodic updates;
• Stay updated on QA developments and propose new tools or methods;
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Profile :

• 3 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance for medium-large teams;
• 3 years of experience in developing test automation frameworks or designing automated testing suites;
• 3 years of experience managing test code with SCM tools and integrating testing with build tools like Azure DevOps;
• 1 year of practical experience with git source control, including branching and pull requests;
• 3 years of experience with developing UI test automation with Selenium using C# / .NET;
• Experience with writing test cases in Gherkin syntax is desirable;
• Experience testing applications hosted in Microsoft Azure is desirable.
