Job Description:
At TecAlliance, IT and automotive specialists collaborate to digitize the automotive spare parts market. We are not just witnessing the future of the market together - we are shaping it. More than 900 colleagues work tirelessly across 140 countries, and the numbers are growing. We are owned by 34 automotive companies such as Bosch, Continental, or ZF and take pride in connecting all data for them.
As a Quality Assurance Engineer (m/f/d), you will dive deep into software, break it apart, and find its weaknesses. You have the power to improve products and deliver a better user experience. Your work matters!
Your main responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans for backend systems, web applications, and APIs
- Create and maintain test cases and test data
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and troubleshoot issues
- Participate in the design and development of automated tests
- Identify and document defects and track them in Azure DevOps
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality of our software products
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies
Your profile:
- University degree, vocational training or equivalent experience in IT or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in testing backend systems, web applications, and APIs
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices
- Experience in creating and executing test plans and test cases
- Experience in automated testing tools such as Postman, JMeter, or Playwright
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Fluent in English and Spanish; any additional language is a plus
Contracts, Salary, and non-monetary benefits:
- All our contracts are by default unlimited (probation period is six months)
- Compensation package: 97% fixed base salary paid monthly, with a 3% performance-based bonus paid annually, dependent on company performance.
- Our travel policy allows for expense reimbursement, ensuring you can explore the world without stressing over your wallet
- Discounts on our corporate benefits program with a broad range of partners
- Flexible remuneration: You have the option to allocate a portion of your salary towards either discounted meal vouchers, kindergarten, or health insurance, providing you with valuable benefits and tax advantages.
- Hybrid or Remote within Spain: Remote work from anywhere in Spain or a hybrid setup. For hybrid, you'll join us at our Santa Cruz de Tenerife office one day per week. Flexible options tailored to your preferences and lifestyle.
- Structured Onboarding: you receive an individual onboarding plan, have multiple onboarding days in the beginning, and a wealth of e-learning, training, and documentation besides your team at your disposal
- Set-up: for this, we will provide you with a tailored tech set-up (notebook, headset, backpack) if you are working in an office, and for remote workers, we have an extended set-up
- Vacation: 30 working days a year
- Balance job & life: Flexible working hours: you decide where and when you work
- OKRs instead of micromanagement: our OKRs ensure that our leadership style is based on results, not the process. In other words, we practice extreme ownership.
Culture:
- We value ownership, cooperation, entrepreneurial thinking & self-reflection to communicate effectively as ONE team
- Team culture is Key! We have fun at work and beyond: There is always something to celebrate and regular team events.
- Come as you are - do you prefer T-shirts over a shirt? Great.
- Your contribution matters: shape our value-driven culture and agile transformation together with your colleagues – we´re curious, want to go one step further, build further trust together, and join forces to tackle our challenges as a team
