To maintain our growth, we are expanding our team and are currently looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join us in Stockholm, Budapest, Madrid, London, or India. (Yes, we have offices in over 15 countries!)

What you will do :

1. Design, develop, execute, and maintain test scripts for Big Screen devices, STBs, mobile, or web, utilizing coding skills and automation tools/frameworks.
2. Ensure comprehensive test coverage that meets system and software requirements.
3. Collaborate with internal and external teams, playing a key role in software quality assurance for solutions deployed worldwide.
4. Perform testing ranging from UI validation to low-level media streaming and broadcast technology validation.
5. Conduct functional testing of new features, regression testing, and address bugs and defects during development.
6. Deploy artifacts across different environments such as development, QA, and UAT.
7. Engage with cross-functional scrum teams, including product owners, designers, and developers, to ensure quality aligns with requirements through meetings and planning sessions.
8. Communicate proactively with stakeholders.
9. Estimate tasks accurately.
10. Assist in reproducing complex issues, document bugs clearly, and track production issues to improve test coverage.
11. Maintain manual and automated test artifacts.
12. Collaborate with teams to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.

What we are looking for

• Mandatory programming knowledge: Java.
• Experience with Selenium or Appium automation tools.
• Basic experience integrating open source or third-party APIs and libraries.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of software development methodologies like Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, and practices such as Continuous Delivery and TDD.
• Knowledge of platform-specific languages, frameworks, and tools.
• Fundamental understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Ability to work independently under guidance from senior team members.
• Strong problem-solving skills and passion for technical challenges.
• Interest in exploring new technology areas relevant to the business.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Strong analytical thinking skills.
