Formación

• Licenciatura en un tema relacionado con matemáticas o ciencias requerida.

RESPONSABILITIES:

Supports Category Leads in the development of sourcing strategy:

1. Identifies the correct sources of information (market reports, internet sources…) and sets up the channels to get the right information to the right person.
2. Collects data on internal factors such as spend and stakeholder requirement analysis.
3. Collects data on external factors such as industry and market dynamics, and products/services trends.
4. Conducts analysis on internal and external data.
5. Performs calculation on industry & supplier cost models and TCO models.
6. Performs supplier evaluation including supplier financials and capabilities (products/services, quality levels…), using available and defined sources of information.
7. Provides analytical support during the supplier screening and selection process:
8. Assists in the development of Request for information (RFI) to collect supplier information.
9. Analyzes RFI responses and provides input for the supplier screening.
10. Assists in the development of Request for proposal (RFP) and develops consolidated overview of supplier proposals, score supplier responses.
11. Prepares fact based negotiation package which supports Category Leader in the negotiation process.
12. Responsible for initiating and successfully completing the onboarding process for new suppliers.
13. Supports Category Leader in implementing contract & ensuring contract compliance:
14. Supports in collecting and consolidating data on contract compliance and supplier performance.
15. Supports in identifying opportunities and actions for continuous improvement by means of analysis of supplier performance and internal KPI data.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in a Math or Sciences Related Subject (e.g. Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, Sciences).

Experience:

At least one year of relevant internship experience within a procurement, data analytics, management consulting or business intelligence/strategy team.

SKILLS:

1. Strong communication and presentation skills.
2. Database: Relational database experience.
3. Outstanding technical and analytical skills.
4. Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve problems.
5. Expert level Excel User: Ability to use advanced equations and functions within Microsoft Excel (Index-Match, Calculated Fields in Pivot tables, Writing Macros).
6. Ability to manage and update large datasets accurately from multiple inputs and track changes.
7. Ability to clearly, concisely and visually summarize and interpret large volumes of data into management reports.
8. Strong Applied Mathematical and Statistical Skills.

5. Logistics: various categories including 3PL, brokerage, freight forwarding, freight (e.g. road-FTL / LTL, air, ocean / tanker, rail) and warehousing & storage.
6. Facilities and MRO: various categories including Construction and Equipment (e.g. plant equipment, installation services, material handling), Facilities Services (Diversified Facilities Management, Maintenance & Repair, Janitorial, Cafeteria / Vending, Real Estate), MRO (e.g. supplies, pallets, uniforms) and Utilities (e.g. electric, gas, water and sewage).
7. IT / Telecom: various categories including Hardware (e.g. servers, computers, peripherals and office equipment), Software, Telecom (e.g. voice and data, mobile services, telecom hardware, conferencing services) and IT Services (e.g. help desk, IT consulting).
