A leading company in technology is seeking a QCS Service Engineer in Ibarra to perform maintenance services in paper mills. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in engineering and at least 3 years of Voith project management experience. Responsibilities include optimizing control systems, troubleshooting, client training, and maintaining high product quality.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering field required.
  • At least 3 years of project management experience with Voith.
  • Specific skills in radioactive facilities and PCS7 Siemens expertise necessary.

QCS Service Engineer

Key Tasks
  1. Perform regular maintenance services in paper mills, focusing on QCS and DCS systems.
  2. Optimize and maintain Voith systems and equipment, and optionally, competitor systems installed at the client's site.
  3. Handle repairs and troubleshoot specific client issues.
  4. Install software updates and perform backups.
  5. Coordinate with clients to optimize control systems and improve final product quality.
  6. Identify and replace spare parts.
  7. Check and adjust supplied documentation.
  8. Train client personnel (machine operators, maintenance staff).
  9. Perform remote diagnostics and service via modem.
  10. Execute commissioning of regulation and control systems.
  11. Conduct functional tests at plants and suppliers for acceptance.
  12. Prepare reports.
  13. Collaborate on product improvements and vulnerability analysis.
  14. Proactively sell spare parts, and update solutions and service features.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Automation, or Process Engineering.
Experience
  • At least 3 years of project management experience with Voith.
Skills
  • Operator license for radioactive facilities.
  • Training in radioactive sources.
  • PCS7 Siemens expertise.
