Formación

The Role

We are seeking an energetic, enthusiastic, and experienced QA Engineer committed to high-quality work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

As a key Scrum team member, you will collaborate to deliver high-quality user stories, work with Product Owners on acceptance criteria, and ensure stories are 'Done'. You will focus on test automation, increasing test coverage, and ensuring quality across solutions.

Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with Product Owners and team members to ensure quality in each sprint.
  2. Understand user stories and acceptance criteria.
  3. Participate in scrum ceremonies to promote quality.
  4. Join community practice meetings to standardize testing approaches.
  5. Prioritize tasks for shippable product delivery each sprint.
  6. Ensure ownership of test tasks within the team to complete stories.
  7. Suggest automation improvements and refine acceptance criteria.
  8. Design and write test cases with automation in mind.
  9. Execute test cases, log defects, and report issues.
  10. Create automated tests using C# and .NET, collaborating with automation teams on best practices.

Requirements

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, electronic engineering, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of software testing experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Agile testing, particularly Scrum.
  • Experience testing RESTful APIs and developing automated solutions.
  • Proficiency with test automation tools such as RestSharp, RestAssured, SoapUI, Postman, Selenium.
  • Strong programming skills in C# and .NET technologies.
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks.
  • Proficiency with test management and issue tracking tools like Jira.
  • Experience in TDD environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of BDD tools like Cucumber.
  • ISTQB CTFL Agile Tester certification or similar.
  • Knowledge of Telecom/IP networking.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.

New hires are required to work onsite five days during the six-month probation. Post-probation, flexible work-from-home options are available up to eight days per month, depending on business needs and performance.
