Our Mobile business unit offers solutions for the Telecommunications market, such as SIM Cards, eSIMs, Subscription Management, iSE, to secure connectivity and guarantee interoperability, connecting people, companies, and objects efficiently and with secure processes.

We're actively seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join our team in Madrid, with a hybrid work model. You will be part of the Research & Development team.

¿What would be your mission within this role? As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for the Quality Assurance and Issue Management for embedded system products (eUICC) in R&D, working closely with development, support, and product teams to maintain high product quality and efficiently resolve issues.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

QA (Quality Assurance):

• Design, execute, and automate test cases to validate system functionality;
• Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using issue management tools;
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage for new features and system enhancements;
• Work closely with development teams to reproduce, analyze, and resolve detected issues.

IM (Issue Management):

• Monitor, analyze, and prioritize reported issues from customers and internal teams;
• Coordinate with development, product, and support teams to ensure efficient issue resolution;
• Track issue trends, root causes, and provide insights to improve product stability;
• Establish metrics and reporting to optimize the issue management process.

Required knowledge:

• Skilled in Java programming.
• Skilled in Python development.
• Multilingual communication: Fluent in English and Spanish; knowledge of Chinese is highly valued.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.

If you want this position to be yours, we would like you to have the following:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of previous and proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role.
• Availability to Travel: Required (not frequent)
• Proficiency in Spanish and excellent written, reading and spoken English to communicate with our global team.
• A good level of Chinese is a plus.
• Strong analytical and teamwork skills.
• Autonomous Problem-Solving
• Detail-Oriented
