A tech company focusing on mental well-being is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join their IT team. In this fully remote position, you will design and maintain automated tests, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor other engineers. The ideal candidate has over 6 years of experience in QA Automation and strong knowledge of automated testing tools such as Playwright and Cypress. Competitive hourly compensation is offered.

What are we looking for?

We are seeking a skilled and motivated QA Automation Engineer to join our IT team. If you are proactive and detail-oriented, passionate about quality, and enjoy working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, ifeel is the place for you.

Main tasks and responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for backend, web, and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Develop and improve automated testing frameworks and pipelines.
• Perform exploratory testing to identify edge cases and usability issues.
• Report and track bugs, ensuring a high level of product quality.
• Work closely with the DevOps team to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Train and mentor the current QA team on best practices in automated testing, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, sharing expertise and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Continuously monitor, analyze, and improve test coverage, performance, and stability.

The Ideal candidate will have :

• 6+ years of experience in QA Automation.
• Strong knowledge of automated testing tools (Playwright, Cypress, Appium, Maestro).
• Experience with test frameworks in JavaScript / TypeScript, Python, or Java.
• Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI / CD, Jenkins).
• Experience testing RESTful APIs (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with mobile testing (Android / iOS).
• Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively articulate technical concepts.
• Native Spanish, fluent English, and excellent communication skills.

We would love to know more about you if you have :

• Interest in psychology and mental health.
• Experience with performance and security testing.
• Experience with mentoring.
• Knowledge of BDD (e.g., Cucumber, Behave).
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• Familiarity with tools such as TestRail, Xray, Allure Reports, etc.
• Contributions to open-source projects or personal tech initiatives.
